Location & Strategic Advantage

Situated within Khalifa Port — one of the world's most advanced semi-automated container and multipurpose ports — Oylz Terminal Abu Dhabi commands one of the most strategically valuable positions in global energy logistics. Khalifa Port sits at the intersection of Asia-Europe trade corridors, the Arabian Gulf shipping lanes, and the Indian Ocean freight networks.
The terminal benefits from zero congestion access within the Khalifa Port ecosystem, a dedicated vessel berth with a 16-meter draft capable of accommodating Suezmax and Aframax class tankers, and seamless integration with the port's existing customs, maritime, and logistics infrastructure. This connectivity directly translates into faster turnaround times, lower operational costs, and superior reliability for clients.

Terminal Infrastructure

Oylz Terminal Abu Dhabi is built on 90,000 square meters of prime industrial land within Khalifa Port, featuring a fully engineered, modular layout designed for both Phase 1 capacity and future expansion. The terminal's infrastructure is categorized across five core systems:

Storage Tanks

The terminal houses a portfolio of engineered fixed-roof, floating-roof, and cone-roof storage tanks, each configured and dedicated to specific product categories. Tanks are equipped with advanced automatic tank gauging (ATG) systems, temperature sensors, vapor recovery units, and overfill protection systems that comply with API, NFPA, and UAE Civil Defense standards. Full remote monitoring from the Central Control Room (CCR) enables real-time visibility across all tank operations.

Marine Transfer Systems

The dedicated berth infrastructure supports concurrent loading and unloading of large tanker vessels with 16-meter draft clearance. The marine arm pipeline systems are equipped with pneumatic pigging facilities for product segregation and clean changeovers, ensuring contamination-free multi-product operations. Vapor recovery systems meet international environmental standards for all marine transfer operations.

Truck Loading Facility

The terminal's automated truck loading facility operates multiple simultaneous loading bays, each managed through a fully integrated batch loading control system. RFID-enabled vehicle identification, automated flow metering, and custody transfer documentation are all handled digitally, enabling rapid, accurate, and auditable truck dispatch operations round the clock.

Pipeline & Transfer Network

A proprietary multi-commodity pipeline network runs across the terminal, enabling efficient product transfer from marine berths to tanks, inter-tank transfers, blending operations, and truck loading — all managed through a centralized PLC/SCADA system. Pipeline segregation ensures complete product integrity across all concurrent operations.

Automation & Digital Management

Oylz Terminal Abu Dhabi operates on a fully digital terminal management system, delivering real-time monitoring and control across all operational parameters. The TMS integrates with custody transfer systems, client reporting portals, and ERP platforms to provide full operational transparency and zero-error transaction management. 24/7 CCTV surveillance covers all operational zones.

Compliance & Safety

The terminal is designed and operated in full compliance with international safety, environmental, and quality standards:

  • NFPA - fire and explosion safety
  • UAE Civil Defense Regulations
  • API Standards
  • ISO 9001 — quality management systems
  • ISO 14001 — environmental management systems
  • OHSAS 18001 / ISO 45001 — occupational health and safety
